This method needs constant improvement, though. So if your app is not able to tell if an observed vehicle is a Model 3 or Model Y (this is indicated by a blue icon), please edit the vehicle and add the actual VIN of the car to the respective entry. This way, we are able to improve our detection mechanism over time.

Version 0.130 (released on 2021-12-19)
Version 0.130 tries to improve the stability of older installs (with many objects in the device-database). Also, the Tesla Radar Vehicle API was made available and can be accessed in order to determine whether a spotted vehicle is a Model 3 or Model Y.
Here are the changes in short:
- started with Tesla Radar API
- added API access option to preferences
- added automatic purge of old entries in on-device database
- added preferences setting to disable the download of stats (for head-less installations)
